Handles
These can sometimes be repaired. If this is not possible, we canl replaced them. You will, of course, be informed before any work is carried out. From £12.00
Surface Cracks (very common)
These can sometimes be nothing to worry about, but better to be safe than sorry. Surface cracks can be repaired before it get any worse. This service includes a rub down, oiling and a newly fitted face applied the blade to protect it from further damage. From £9.00
Damaged Toes (can take up to two weeks)
Thes an be repaired, and also prevented. Normally resulting from a Yorker or a missed hit or full toss, this service includes having the toe taken back to bare wood, glued and clamped, then rubbed down again. A new plastic toe guard is then fitted to the very end of the bat, and if necessary, a very strong one fitted to the face of the bat to prevent it splitting again.
There is no guarantee on this service as toes can be unpredictable, but we will do our very best. Weight Reduction
Normally, a weight reduction is performed if someone has bought you the wrong weight bat, or if you have changed your style of batting - a very common occurencein a younger player. The process will only take up to 3oz off any one bat. We can remove more, but, as this can sometimes unbalance the bat, we will require a release form before we perform the service.
End-Of-Season Clean Up
This includes a rub down, re-labelling, new Anti-Scuff fitted, full re oiling and a brand new grip. Please note that we can only re-label if your bat was bought from us, or if you own a bat from one of the brands available to buy on SlogItFor6.com.
